We're Molly, Sam & Connor, and we've chosen to do the film task for our main coursework. We've chosen to do this task because we felt it seemed more fun and productive and we really enjoyed working on the preliminary part of the task. We'll keep you updated on our progress on this blog, and hopefully you'll enjoy what we produce!

Investigate narrative theory. Very relevant to this project, and very relevant considering the level you are working at, which is at the top.
Narrative theory: Propp, Barthes, Levi-Strauss, and the 'theory of equilibrium.'
How do they relate to this project?
3) America as an idea - check out Jean Baudrillard. Your film may be based in Britain, but the comedy writer you mention as a big influence is American. What is 'the idea of America?'
4) Anything written critcally on the script writer/comedy writer you mention? Google it - aim to engage in the ideas that are generated by his productivity.
